Print Node

PrintNode was built when Google Cloud Print was discontinued.

This document will explain what PrintNode is and how the integration works. 

What is PrintNode:

PrintNode is a service similar to GCP that will allow remote printing to be done from any computer to any installed printer. This service will allow you to continue cloud based printing without having to switch to direct printing. You will need to set up a client application from PrintNode on computers connected to the printer. 

Vetspire doesn't charge to use this integration. You would need to contact Print Node for their pricing. 

Integration Steps:

Once your account is set up, PrintNode should provide you with an API key that allows us to connect to your printers. Please populate that API key in the PrintNode integration settings.

Then, you will need to go to Admin > Locations, select your location and then scroll down to find the printer settings. Each location will select at least one computer to pull printers from. They can also choose a default printer. 

Once the PrintNode is configured with a default printer, it will automatically print there, otherwise, you will see a pop-up that will have you select the printer and the number of copies you wish to print!
